About Us

About Ted Sihpol

Ted grew up in an 1820’s dairy farm in Massachusetts and like it or not, helped restore the house one room at a time, year after year. After being asked to take over a friend’s failing renovation project, he went on to get his Home Improvement License and never looked back, building a reputation one project at a time. Outside of work, Ted has enjoyed coaching his two boys and spending time on the beach with his wife Rhonda.

About our Business

Our mission is to provide the highest level of personal service while surpassing our client’s expectation of quality. Measured by our client’s level of satisfaction, our success is achieved with the combination of traditionally skilled craftsmen, modern techniques, and the highest quality product selection.

We work very hard to minimize the intimidation often associated with residential construction projects and work with you to simplify and understand a complex and involved process – we believe that you deserve to know and comprehend what’s happening in your house.

We strive to foster a cooperative trust throughout the project. This has allowed us to grow the business to the point where it is today. We’re not perfect, but aim to provide you, your family, and your project with the level of service, attention, and quality you deserve.

Our Local Community Efforts

We make a point of giving back to the community through local charities like the New Canaan Food Bank and New Canaan Scholarship Foundation and sponsoring lacrosse teams and football teams.

Our Experienced Team

Our team provides our clients with the level of service and attention to detail they expect. Our team earned their stripes the old fashioned way – they started hauling materials and cleaning up. After years of coming up through the ranks they earned the privilege of working on some of the most exclusive properties in Fairfield County and thats where I found them. We now leverage those years of experience and skill to ensure your project is finished with pride, dedication and lasting quality you expect. Our team of exceptional subcontractors provide support to my group who then handle the finish details – because that’s where we excel and can ensure the details that set us apart are most evident.

A Historical Perspective

Church Service and a Loving Restoration

I love that we were asked to work on the renovation of this historic chapel. The direction from the homeowners was to build a new house within the existing fieldstone walls, incorporate modern amenities, and stay true to the original structure.

The Old Red Barns of New England

No barn is alike. However, the one constant among them is functionality. Barns were built to accommodate whatever type of need is required – from space for animals and working farm equipment to a more modern living and entertaining space.
